Every year, Wild Waves Theme Park employs more than 1,000 people in a variety of jobs. We offer positions in Food Service, Ride Operations, Rentals, Retail, Aquatics, Maintenance, Group Sales, Admissions, Park Services, Security, Games, Parking and Human Resources. This year, we are looking to fill many positions and know that with your help we can employ qualified applicants.

Description of Positions

Receipt Taker
Responsibilities include greeting guests as they enter and exit the park, processing tickets, receipts and season passes efficiently and correctly, stamping hands, maintaining a safe and clean work area and assisting guests with information and directions.

Ticket Sales
Responsibilities include greeting guests, operating a register, balancing a cash register, running charge cards, answering questions and keeping work area clean and free of debris; while providing guests with a great first impression.

Deep & Shallow Water Guard
Responsibilities include completing and passing a lifeguard certification class, keeping current with lifeguard license requirements, keeping water attractions safe by enforcing rules and executing preventative safety measures, assisting guests and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Food Service
Responsibilities include using your customer service skills to provide guests with premium service, while operating a cash register, preparing and serving food and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Retail
Responsibilities include operating a cash register, collecting money and running credit card charges, assisting guests, restocking inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Sales Associate
Responsibilities include providing office support for Group Sales and the Season Pass offices. These duties include telemarketing, clerical duties, cash handling, operating a multi-line phone, and providing customer service to our guests, while maintaining a safe and clean work area

Grounds/Park Clean-up
Responsibilities include busing tables, tending to and stocking restrooms, arranging lounge chairs, picking up trash, emptying garbage cans, providing customer service to our guests and maintaining a safe and clean park environment.

Human Resources
Responsibilities include assisting with all Human Resource daily functions, providing customer service to team members and guests, handling confidential information, operating a busy dispatch center, general office work and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Gardening/Landscaping
Responsibilities include mowing lawns, cleaning, planting and weeding gardens and landscaped areas, operating a variety of machinery, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Skilled or Semi-Skilled Laborer
Responsibilities include carpentry, painting, welding, general maintenance improvements, while maintaining a safe and clean work space.

Game Attendant
Responsibilities include encouraging guests to play games, collecting game fee, giving correct change, explaining how the game operates, providing directions, awarding prizes, conducting inventory and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Parking Lot Attendant
Responsibilities include collecting parking fees, giving directions, answering questions, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. Attendants are responsible for presenting guests with a great first impression of Wild Waves Theme Park.

Receiving/Distribution
Responsibilities include stocking and storing products from vendors, receiving and directing delivered goods, distributing product to outlets within the park, assisting with monthly inventory, while maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Rentals
Responsibilities include operating cash registers, collecting cash and charge, issuing keys and rafts, refunding deposits, giving directions to guests, providing customer service and assisting guests, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Ride Operations
Responsibilities include operating rides for children and adults, enforcing safety rules, providing directions and customer service to our guests, while maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Security
Responsibilities include handling crowd control, enforcing park policies, operating metal detectors and hand wands, locating lost children and parents, assisting guests and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Water Quality
Responsibilities include performing regular water safety checks on all water attractions. Interpreting results from water quality tests and adjusting chemical as appropriate to maintain the highest safety standards. Maintaining clean and safe pools for our guests.

Internships
As part of our responsibility to community enrichment, Wild Waves Theme Park will be offering several internship opportunities this summer. Our internships present the opportunity for students to gain hands-on knowledge about a respective field. We offer internships in the following areas of study: Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Food Service and Retail.
