Park Opening June 18th

Dear Wild Waves Guests,

It’s finally here – the fun is coming back on June 18, 2021 and we could not be more excited to welcome you, your friends, and family. We have prepared a vigorous health and safety protocol designed to provide Washingtonians with a safe, close-to-home way to get outdoors and make new memories.

At this time, the park is still required to have capacity restrictions. From June 18 through 30, all guests are required to make a reservation online prior to planning their visit. As restrictions and guidelines are eased, we will reevaluate and work toward resuming normal operations.

We want guests to know how happy we are to have them back, and what we’ve done to prepare. We encourage everyone to visit WildWaves.com when planning their outing, looking for a job or grabbing the best deal on tickets and Season Passes. You’ll want to visit the website to confirm hours of operation, learn about our health and safety protocol, buy your tickets, and make your Season Pass reservation (at least through June 30).

New benefits have automatically been extended to 2020 Season Pass holders. All 2020 Season Passes have been upgraded to the new Premium Season Pass, which features several new benefits, including free parking. All 2020 tickets and Season Passes will be honored in 2021. No action is required to validate your pass for the 2021 season. Early Season Pass processing will take place June 3-5, 10-12, and 16-17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and feature a new drive-thru process. Please take advantage of this early processing convenience which will accommodate 2020 Season Passes (now 2021 passes) as well as new 2021 Season Passes.

Information regarding Wild Waves Theme & Water Park’s safety and health precautions, reservations and early processing can be found on the park’s website, by following the park on social media, or signing up for the newsletter.

Some of the new health and safety precautions include:

A MESSAGE TO OUR SEASON PASSHOLDERS AND GUESTS

November 19, 2020

Dear Friends of Wild Waves,

With the holidays approaching, I know we had all hoped that the impacts of COVID-19 would lessen but that doesn’t seem to be the case. However, there has been good news regarding treatment options for the virus and I remain hopeful that progress will continue. I also wanted to let you know that we plan to open Wild Waves on May 22, 2021 and have a very detailed plan to keep you safe. Hundreds of theme and water parks opened safely across the country this past summer and I am confident in our ability to do so as well.

We normally offer a special sale on our Season Passes for the holidays and are continuing to do that this year. Season Passes make great gifts as they provide enjoyment long past the end of the holiday season. Wild Waves Theme and Water park is a great, outdoor venue, where friends and families can create memories that last a lifetime. We missed you this year and can’t wait to welcome you back. We also want to ease your mind with our 2021 plan and promise.

Wild Waves Season Pass Promise - Here at Wild Waves, we understand that it is a difficult and uncertain time for all. We want to bring the fun back in a big way in 2021. We also want you, our pass holders, to have peace of mind when purchasing your season pass. In the event the Park does not open for the 2021 season, your 2021 season pass will rollover to the 2022 season.

Pass holders who experience a COVID-19 health-related change or concern, which prohibits them visiting the Park for the season, may also move unused passes to the 2022 season. For those that have already purchased a 2020 Season Pass, your pass has been automatically transferred and upgraded to the new 2021 Premium Season Pass. This pass will also rollover to the 2022 season should the Park not open for the 2021 season.

What to expect next season - At Wild Waves Theme & Water Park, our top priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and our team members. Our new safety and sanitation protocols will be in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep you and your family safe. Our safety plan is designed to meet or exceed any and all guidelines set forth by local and state officials, World Health Organization (“WHO”), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) and respected industry organizations such as the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the World Waterpark Association (WWA), International Ride Training (IRT) and Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc. (E&A) to assure the park is a safe place to be and have fun.

Let me conclude by wishing you, and your friends and family, a safe and healthy holiday season. We are excited for next summer and we look forward to seeing you all at the park again.

Sincerely,

Jody Kneupper
Park President Wild Waves Theme & Water Park

A MESSAGE TO OUR SEASON PASSHOLDERS AND GUESTS

August 20, 2020

Dear Friends,

Due to COVID-19 and the unknown timeline and operating restrictions that have accompanied it, we have made the very difficult decision to not open Wild Waves Theme & Water Park for the 2020 season. In addition to the many friends and families that will not be able to visit our park this season, we also regret not being able to hire the 600+ people we normally employ each summer.

Even though many theme and water parks are open and operating safely around the U.S., the challenges lie with our current county health metrics and the phases in Washington state. We have spent months consulting with industry and medical experts and put together a detailed plan that would allow us to safely open. In addition, we had invested hundreds of thousands of dollars on training, ride inspections, supplies, maintenance, signage and more preparing for opening day at Wild Waves. However, it is now almost September, and with King County still only in Phase 2 and no projected opening date in sight, we don’t see any other feasible alternative than to remain closed for the 2020 season.

We would like to thank all those that have been supportive and have uplifted our spirits through this challenging time. There were many updates to our operating calendar as we tried to follow guidance and project opening dates. Your patience and understanding throughout this process has been greatly appreciated. We know that everyone has felt the frustration and impacts of this pandemic, but the health and safety of our guests and our team is always our top priority. We all look forward to better times and we will be ready to welcome you back in 2021.

For those that have already purchased a 2020 Season Pass, we will automatically transfer it to a 2021 Premium Season Pass. To reward our Pass Holders for their understanding and loyalty, we are automatically upgrading all Season Passes to the 2021 Premium Pass that will provide you the most benefits and perks for the 2021 season. These benefits include FREE Parking, FREE Souvenir Bottle, 4 Bring a Friend FREE tickets (some restrictions apply), 50% off Cabana Rentals, plus other perks throughout the season. Please see our website for further details. If you purchased a 2020 single day admission ticket, it will be good through the entire 2021 season. Season Pass Meal Plans will rollover and be good through the 2021 season. If you purchased a 2020 Season Parking Pass you will also receive a $50 credit on your EZ-Band for each Season Parking Pass purchased. The $50 credit will be applied to your EZ-Band on your first visit to the park during the 2021 season.

You do not need to do anything to receive your 2021 Premium Season Pass; a confirmation will be emailed to you over the next few months. If you have questions, please email info@wildwaves.com and reference your name and confirmation numbers. Please be understanding as the team works diligently through this process to communicate to everyone that has purchased a Season Pass.

We are saddened that we will not be able to entertain you and your friends and family this season but look forward to helping you create many fond memories at Wild Waves in 2021. Most importantly, stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Jody Kneupper
Park President Wild Waves Theme & Water Park
